Tweed Meets Beads
By TwistieA few years ago, a friend of mine told me she’d seen the perfect hat for me. It was a tweed flatcap with beaded flowers and antiqued metallic sequins on it. I tried to keep a straight expression, but couldn’t stop myself making a bit of a face. It just sounded horrible. My brain was breaking.
Luckily for me, said friend bought the hat and gave it to me, anyway. Not only is it the only flatcap that has ever flattered my face, it’s one of my favorite pieces ever. The coloring is subtle and perfect to go with my skin, hair, and eyes. The instant I saw it, I ate my words raw and realized that sometimes descriptions don’t tell you everything.
