Sweet Dreams

Nothing inspires happy dreams quite like pretty, comfortable sleepwear. With warmer weather on the way, that means something lightweight and non-binding. So what could be better than this light as a feather chemise in cool blue with a white pattern based on henna painting?

Henna Pattern Chemise The cotton/poly blend is easy care, too.

Best of all, it’s on sale today only at Bare Necessities. Originally priced at $58.00, you can get it for just $43.50. But hurry! The sale ends when the calendar turns!

For those of us lucky enough to have nice backyards or good-sized front porches, the warming weather leads almost inevitibly to the dream of sitting outside with a cool pitcher of some cool drink and a good friend. Mr. Twistie, if you’re reading this, let’s make the dream come true this year. In fact, I’ve found a set I think would look great on our porch, and it’s even available at a great bargain price!

Outdoor Resin Bistro Set/5 Colors The wicker chairs and table base are actually made of weather resistant resin over a sturdy steel base. Oh, and it appears that the color options currently available are white, honey and sage. I don’t know about you, but I’m kind of loving the honey.

Thanks to Overstock.com, it’s quite affordable, too. If we went somewhere else, it would run about $499.99, but at Overstock.com, it’s going for just $269.99. I don’t know about you, but saving more than $200.00 on a dream sounds great to me!

Spring may have sprung, but on a foggy morning or when the evening gets a bit breezy, we still need some light jacket or wrap to keep us both comfortable and fashionable.

Magaschoni Ruffled Wrap, Cinnamon This fabulous ruffled cashmere wrap by Magaschoni is just the ticket to keep the chill away while looking cool. The cinnamon color is flattering to many, but if it’s not for you, the wrap also comes in grey, ivory, or Bellini (peach) as well.

Whichever color you choose, you’ll get a great deal on this at Bluefly. The retail price is $344.00, but Bluefly has it for just $206.00. That’s 40% off, which is pretty darn good for pure cashmere.

With the advent of spring and summer weather, it’s important to have a really fabulous party dress that can also beat the heat. It needs to be gorgeous, too. Being versatile enough to be worn to day or evening events is also a useful thing.

Liz Claiborne brings us this smashing tulip red dress that will look superfantastic whether you wear it to an outdoor wedding or a cocktail party or a theater opening.

But wait, there’s more! With 100% cotton shell lined in 100% polyester, it’s machine washable for easy care.

Best of all, it’s on sale right now at Overstock.com. Once upon a time you’d have had to spend $119.00 to get this great designer dress. Not anymore. Overstock.com has it for just $69.99. That’s a savings of 41%.

So be the lady in red at your next event. Nobody will forget you.

The tote bag is huge this spring. So are bright colors and bold jewelry. Free shipping is always a welcome deal for a smart shopper. How often do you get the perfect color, the perfect purse, the perfect sparkle and free shipping all at once? Not often, but you can get it all today from Hair Boutique Marketplace with this fabulous Bongo Bags boucle tote and co-ordinating brooch.

<>Bongo Bag Boucle Bag and Brooch My eye was particularly caught by this delicious pumpkin orange and chocolate brown tote with its vintage-inspired sunburst pin, but there are several colors and styles of pin to choose from. The pin can be used on the bag as shown, or it may be removed and pinned to a blouse, sweater, or jacket.

Originally priced at $107.00, the set has been marked down to just $80.25 . That’s 25% off, which is a great deal. What makes this an even better deal is that it qualifies for free shipping within the US.

You’d better move fast, though! Quantities of these great bags are limited.

I’m loving the current trend to metallics, especially since it’s a good time to find things in my favorite metallic, copper.

Le Silla Copper Purse This delicious Le Silla satin velvet purse appeals strongly to me with its bejeweled clasp and rich, shimmery color.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that it’s also available at a real steal from YOOX.com. Originally priced at $458.00, it’s been marked down to just $115.00! That’s more than a $300.00 savings.
