Comfortable, sturdy handles are an absolute must in a good stockpot, and these are some of the nicest handles I've ever seen on a stockpot. I've looked at dozens, but the Calphalon remains the best one I know of.

Mr. Henry has owned the Calphalon 12 qt. stock pot for years and years. It's a kitchen essential. He uses it for boiling any pasta more than a single serving as well as for, you guessed it, preparing stock. 

The handles are well-designed and the metal conducts surprisingly well for such a lightweight pot. Because you can hold it with one had without spraining your wrist, washing it is easier than washing a LeCreuset enamel.</description>
