For Canadian readers, Chapters/Indigo/Coles is doing a deal of the week through the holiday season, with a select book being 50% off the list price in store and online. There’s been some good picks so far - there’s been the book of selections from O magazine, former Prime Minister Jean Chretien. This week’s pick is Playing for Pizza by John Grisham. In the interest of full disclosure, I’m a Chapters employee. It’s still a very good deal, I’m excited about some of the upcoming deals of the week.

They’re featured on the main page at Chapters.Indigo.ca. The details say:
“Offer valid in-store at Indigo, Chapters and Coles and online from Friday November 23th - Thursday November 29th, 2007 or while quantities last.”

    * that is, the book of selections from O magzine, and **the memoirs of former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien**

Note to self - don’t try and think after a long week.
